JOSÉ IGES: Pioneer of Sound Art in Spain.

The Iberian reference of radio art, José Iges talks to El RUIDO. Spanish sound artist, composer and industrial engineer, considered a pioneer of sound art in his country. His work is characterised by experimentation with different media, from electroacoustic music to radio and performance.
Iges’ work opens the way for new generations of artists. His legacy is fundamental for understanding the development of sound art in both Spain and Latin America. To this day, the work of José Iges continues to inspire artists and audiences around the world.

This is how we release a new NOISE from the 2024 season.
