█ #FREQUENCIES: Hildegard Westerkamp, a German-born composer, immigrated to Canada in 1968 and has lived on the ancestral lands of the Coast Salish people ever since. She became involved with the World Soundscape Project, which sparked her interest in sound, noise and the acoustic environment.
Her career in soundscape composition and acoustic ecology was influenced by her experiences with the World Soundscape Project and Vancouver Co-operative Radio, as well as the works of composers John Cage and Pauline Oliveros.

And so, with a lot of laughter, we shared this talk about noises in this radio programme.
