█ #FREQUENCIES: Dame Evelyn Glennie is a percussionist and has had a successful career performing all over the world either as a performer or commissioning new works for percussion as a soloist.
She has received numerous awards and accolades including an OBE, 2 GRAMMYs and the Polar Music Prize. She is also actively involved in teaching and inspiring the next generation of musicians through masterclasses and consultations, as well as through her charity, the Evelyn Glennie Foundation.
Evelyn has been accompanied by acute deafness since the age of 12.
With this brief introduction, we share our conversation with the artist.
